About the project
The project combines a solar power plant with battery storage to maximise the use of the energy generated and to take part in the flexibility market. REGRID is delivering the whole project, from the design documentation through to commissioning.
Our role
Project management, engineering, supply and construction of both the PV plant and the BESS, arranging project financing and coordination with the flexibility aggregator.
Benefit for the client
A battery paired with generation on the same site is currently the most economical setup. It means higher use of own generation, revenue from flexibility (balancing services and commercial flexibility) and delivery without any capital burden on the landowner.
